Military Discounts

What is a CANstructure?&nbsp;A canstructure is a unique work of art that is created by collecting hundreds of canned food items, which are then used to design and build a 3-dimensional structure that relates to this year’s theme:&nbsp;Oh, the Places You'll Go! Teams in grades K-12 are invited to design and build CANstructures that will help feed vulnerable members of our community while bringing awareness to the issue of food insecurity. A CANstructure is a unique work of art that is created by collecting hundreds—sometimes thousands!—of canned food items, which are then used to engineer a 3-dimensional structure that relates to this year’s theme, "Building A Brighter Future!" Middle and high school students will build and present their structures at Patrick Henry Mall on Saturday, April 25th; elementary teams will present their CANstructures at their schools the week prior. Mall&nbsp;doors open at 10am for Mall Walkers, Monday through Saturday, and at 11am on Sundays.&nbsp; Mile Marker signs are located throughout the mall indicating 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 3/4 mile, and 1 mile, with the starting sign on the column near Watch &amp; Jewelry Repair. Feel free to stop by the&nbsp;Mall&nbsp;Management Office Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm to pick up a Mall Walker map and pedometer.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Mall&nbsp;Management Office is located down the hall between Foot Locker and Claire's.
