Patrick Henry Mall is located in Newport News, VA approximately 30 miles northwest of Norfolk and 60 miles southeast of Richmond. The center is located on the main road of the peninsula- Jefferson Avenue- with access directly from I-64. Home of Northrup-Grumman Shipbuilding, the largest privately owned shipyard as well as the nation’s only shipyard building nuclear air craft carriers. The mall completed an extensive interior and exterior renovation in late 2005, which included the addition of a 55,000 sf Dick’s Sporting Goods store, Borders Book & Music, Red Robin Restaurant and Bailey’s Pub & Grille. Patrick Henry Mall is the dominant retail destination on the peninsula and the only enclosed regional mall between Richmond and Norfolk.
